US Military Athlete Competing in the 2008 Summer Olympics in China
Specialist Walton Glen Eller III of the US Army Marksmanship Unit Shot Gun team captured the Gold Medal and set two Olympic records on Tuesday at the 2008 Olympic Games in china. This isn’t the first time Specialist Eller has been to the Olympics, he placed 12th in Sydney and 17th.
After missing his first pair in the final, Eller ended up shooting 45 targets and finished with a total score of 190 targets, setting another Olympic record and taking home the Gold.
USAMU teammate Specialist Jeffrey G. Holguin on his first Olympic appearance placed 3rd place cored of 140, shot 42 targets in the final round and ended in fourth place in overall scoring.
We like to wish all our US Military Athletes the best during the Olympic Games.

I recently got the chance to screen the movie “The Rocker”
It’s about a rocker Robert “Fish” Fishman, who in the eighties hair band, but was kicked out of the band. Twenty years later he gets a second chance with the help of his nephew’s band “A.D.D.” which becomes a hit he regains his ROCK-GOD throne, and he takes his much younger bandmates along for the ride.

We also need items for care packages we are going to start gathering items for entertainment Trek to the Troops Care packages again. Our last one which we did late 2006 when we had donation of 200 games from Take Two Interactive was such a great success we thought we would try this again.
Items we are looking for:
DVDs (all kinds of good condtion DVDs)
Video Games (XBOX 360 type and Playstation 2 or 3 some computer games can be accepted)
Popcorn and other snacks that can make the two week trip to Iraq or Afgahnistan.
Pop Culture Magazines things that young men and women would enjoy reading newest issues.
Other care items accepted too.
