Ex-Ranger Student and other Veteran Confront Obvious Faker in Uniform on Campus

This video was posted on Facebook late last week, we were just able to find the video on Youtube now. so we can share it on the website.

The Students who were Veterans were just expressing their freedom of speech,  The Supreme Court turned down the Original Stolen Valor Act and said about Freedom of Speech.  Though making false statements about ones service or having been in the military.  Though a side note its also legal to call such fakes and phonies out when they are found out for being the fakes that they are.  Last year a new version of the Stolen Valor Act was passed which states.

Summary: H.R.258 — 113th Congress (2013-2014)

Public Law (06/03/2013)

(This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The summary of that version is repeated here.)

Stolen Valor Act of 2013 – Amends the federal criminal code to rewrite provisions relating to fraudulent claims about military service to subject to a fine, imprisonment for not more than one year, or both an individual who, with intent to obtain money, property, or other tangible benefit, fraudulently holds himself or herself out to be a recipient of:

  • a Congressional Medal of Honor,
  • a distinguished-service cross,
  • a Navy cross,
  • an Air Force cross,
  • a silver star,
  • a Purple Heart,
  • a Combat Infantryman’s Badge,
  • a Combat Action Badge,
  • a Combat Medical Badge,
  • a Combat Action Ribbon,
  • a Combat Action Medal, or
  • any replacement or duplicate medal for such medal as authorized by law..

This clown was wearing a EOD Medal and Ranger Tab on a 101st Airborne Patch.  He was wearing US Army Name Tape and wearing rank of Master Sergeant which rank you can tell he never earned being so young looking to be a Master Sergeant E-8.    There are rules and laws in place about people wearing uniforms of Police Officers and Fire Fighters, and Medical Personal.  Why aren’t their rules and laws in the states and by federal courts stating its a crime to wear the a U. S.  Military Uniform when your not in the service or wearing items you never earned.   I remember when I was kid buying a set of BDUs from a Military Surplus shop outside of a Army Base. All patches were cut from the uniform.   Now with the ACU’s and everything being so easy on and easy off with Velcro people can just by a patch and put it on easily to be a faker and get the attention from it.
